The use of an efficient sanitiser such as this is essential for disinfecting/sanitising solid surfaces and disinfecting food and drink preparation areas. It can be used for disinfection/sanitising in schools, clinics and hospitals.
In most cases, the purpose of the disinfectant is to reduce the microbial contamination on surfaces to an acceptably low level without causing harmful or unwanted side effects.
For most efficient disinfection, the sanitiser should preferably be applied after pre-cleaning the surface to remove food residues and deposits of soil. Pre-cleaning may be simply a water wash or may involve the application of acid or alkaline detergents, depending on the nature of the residues and of the surfaces to be cleaned. This sanitiser is cationic by nature and is incompatible with anionic detergents, therefore thorough rinsing of all residual detergent liquors after the pre-cleaning stage should be properly carried out. This product should not be mixed with any other cleaning or disinfecting product.
